PUEBLO, Colo. – Held during various 25th PBR: Unleash The Beast events each year, 15/15 Bucking Battles pit the PBR’s best riders against the rankest bulls. It’s a recipe for huge rides and a chance for cowboys to earn not just more money, but additional points toward the world standings.

The second half of the 2018 premier series season begins on Aug. 11-12 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. With the 2018 PBR World Finals just months away, riders will be looking for every point they can get.

Tulsa will feature the first 15/15 Bucking Battle of the second half. Fans can watch the event exclusively on CBS national television Aug. 12 at 1 p.m. ET.

With six 15/15 Bucking Battles are already in the books, and world leader Kaique Pacheco has won three of them.

Monster Energy Buck Off At the Garden: Kaique Pacheco (87.75 points on Moto Moto)

Kaique Pacheco has won three 15/15 Bucking Battles thus far in 2018, and he kicked off his superb run at the very first event of the year. At the Monster Energy Buck Off at the Garden in January, Pacheco earned 87.75 points and improved to 3-for-3 against Moto Moto.

Wrangler Long Live Cowboys Classic: Kaique Pacheco (88.5 points on Jack Shot)

Pacheco won his second 15/15 Bucking Battle of 2018 at the Wrangler Long Live Cowboys Classic in Sacramento, California, in January. Pacheco and Jack Shot have squared off eight times; Sacramento was their sixth matchup, and Pacheco scored 88.5 points to improve his record to 3-for-6. It was the second time he had ridden the bovine at the PBR’s top level of competition.

The Ak-Chin Invitational, presented by Cooper Tires: Fabiano Vieira (90.25 points on Rising Sun)

In March, Fabiano Vieira beat out Pacheco for the top spot at the 15/15 Bucking Battle at the Ak-Chin Invitational, presented by Cooper Tires, in Glendale, Arizona. Vieira rode Rising Sun for 90.25 points, earning 150 world points and moving up two spots in the standings to No. 22.

Billings Invitational: Kaique Pacheco (87 points on Jack Shot) and Ramon de Lima (87 points on Big Dutch)

Countrymen Pacheco and Ramon de Lima tied for the win at the 15/15 Bucking Battle at the Stanley Performance In Action Invitational, presented by Cooper Tires, in Billings, Montana, in April. Billings was the seventh meeting between Pacheco and Jack Shot, and Pacheco made the 8 seconds for 87 points to improve his record on the bovine to 4-for-7. Lima matched up with Big Dutch for 87 points, holding onto the No. 1 spot in the world standings.

Columbus Invitational, presented by Cooper Tires: Luciano De Castro, 89.5 on Wicked Stick

Luciano de Castro was the only rider to make the 8 seconds in April at the Columbus Invitational 15/15 Bucking Battle, earning 89.5 points aboard Wicked Stick for the first 15/15 bucking battle win of his career. Castro earned 150 points towards the PBR world standings to move to No. 4 overall.
