For rodeo fans, this action-packed July is one to remember

PUEBLO, Colo. – Partnering with several marquee rodeo events, the PBR is full swing into an historic month for bringing an unprecedented slate of rodeo action to fans on its new digital network, RidePass, as well as showcased on CBS and CBS Sports Network.

Beginning on July 7 with Ranchman’s PBR BullBustin’ in Canada through the end of the month at PBR Big Sky in Montana, seven total rodeo events will be carried by the streaming, broadcast and cable channels.

From July 6-15, Calgary Stampede – a ten-day celebration of western sports billed as “The Greatest Outdoor Show On Earth” – will stream live twice daily on RidePass in addition to a daily, 30-minute highlight show on CBS Sports Network. PBR’s own Kate Harrison, Matt West and bullfighter Jesse Byrne will serve as hosts throughout the action.

On Saturday, July 21, rodeo returns to network television as CBS Sports broadcasts a one-hour highlight show with the B&W Trailer Hitches Calgary Stampede wrap-up airing at 5:00 pm ET. Harrison and Justin McBride will serve as the hosts for the special.

RidePass is offering live coverage of each day’s rodeo beginning at 1:15 pm MT with West serving as the host. The chuckwagon races featuring PBR’s own sponsored wagon are airing in primetime each day.

The National High School Rodeo Finals will be held July 15-21 in Rock Springs, Wyoming. RidePass will air every round from all four arenas, all seven days, both live and on-demand. Richard Jones, Luke Kaufman and Scott Grover will serve as the play-by-play announcers with Janie Johnson as sideline reporter. Each evening performance will be preceded by a special Rodeo Prime Time pre-show featuring special guest Dale Brisby and a live audience of enthusiastic student athletes.

The Komatsu Equipment Days of ’47 Cowboy Games & Rodeo, a long-standing tradition in Salt Lake City will be held July 19-21 and 23-24. Brandon Bates and Luke Branquinho will call the action on RidePass with Harrison and Anthony Lucia adding color commentary.

CBSSN will air five 30-minute wrap up shows with Harrison and McBride as co-hosts. Rodeo again appears on network television with Harrison, McBride and Branquinho hosting a one-hour Gold Buckle Round Highlight Show airing on CBS Sports on July 29 at 1:00 PM.

On July 23-24, PBR returns to the “Daddy of ‘Em All,” Cheyenne Frontier Days, marking the first time since 2010 that the PBR will be back in Cheyenne. West, Leah Garcia and Colby Yates will bring fans two days of bull riding, including PBR Cheyenne on Monday and the CBR Finals on Tuesday, beginning at 8:00 pm MT both nights on RidePass.

Wrapping up the month-long slate of broadcasts will be the five-time PBR Event of the Year – PBR Big Sky – on July 26-28 in Big Sky, Montana.

West and Yates will be the talent for the RidePass broadcast which will air at 6:00 pm MT on Thursday and 7:00 pm MT on both Friday and Saturday.
